My Very Own Mini Me!

A few years ago I ran into these dolls called Blythe. I fell absolutely in love with them. These dolls are great for making them custom. I could see myself taking my doll and reflecting how I see myself on to her.

Unfortunately, I never bought one because they are so expensive! They are typically $200 and up. Can even get into the thousands!!! O.o So I put that mini dream on hold.

Well the other day in pinterest I ran across them once again. And once again I wanted one very badly :(. So this time I decided I would get one for myself.

I did my research and found the cheapest one at around $90. I was very unsure if to buy it or not so I kept searching. I decided to go on youtube and checked out TheHollycopter to see why dolls she buys. 

In those videos was the answer. She talked about Pullip dolls. But better yet, she talked about the make it own kits.

Well....ta ta da daaaa....

I bought one!!!! This was perfect for me since I want to customize her anyway. She comes completely blank and ready for you to make her your own. 

In the back are the instructions.

They are pretty straight forward. This is what you see when you open the box.

I bought mine with the fair skin tone. There are 4 different ones, pale, fair, tanned, mocha.

She is about 12" tall and is ball jointed.

She looks like an alien at the moment but I am going to make her into a mini me! :)

I hope to make wigs, clothes, shoes, accessories for her. Then, I will take her travelling with me and photograph her. This is going to be a sweet little hobby. Can't wait to see what I do with her.
