The husband and I have decided it is time to go on a big adventure. It is actually quite a huge adventure for us. I think by far this has to be one of the craziest things I have done as an adult.
My husband and I have been wanting to visit Iceland for a while now but we kept putting it off. Mostly me because of my classes and work. We told our friend Onix about it during Thanksgiving break that we really wanted to go but had nothing set. Well our friend messaged us like 2 months ago telling us, "Let's do it! Let's go to Iceland". We were all excited but eventually ended up saying no because we were supposed to have our wedding in November. It was too much in a short amount of time.
Now fast foward to April 1st (yes, April fool's day). I am driving on my way to work and I am thinking to myself when are we going to do something fun? I really want to go to Iceland. I thought long and hard about what was preventing me from going. The ultimate answer was simply me..I was stopping me from going.
I messaged my husband and said let's do it. He agreed. :) Now that is extremely exciting all on it's own but I decided this was a big deal and I wanted to share it with my family. So I invited them along for the trip. We booked all our flights this past Saturday!
No turning back now...we are all going to Iceland! Now all the real planning starts because I want this to be the best vacation ever!
Look how beautiful that place is! I know Jorge and I are going to feel like we are in the Lord of The Rings. Simply can't wait!
Oh and if you read my post about my pullip doll, this is the big trip I was referring to ;). I hope she is ready in time for the trip because I want to take pictures of her in this beautiful country!
We still have a few months to plan for this trip so for now let the real planning begin!
