Home Early!

Today was a short day at work for me. Some priorities shifted around so I was left without work to do. I asked to come home early since I had so much to get done at home and got the permission to do so. Next week will be extremely busy for me so it was great I could get a head start on all my errands.

The babies were pretty excited to see mommy come home early. I am always glad to spend more time with them. I played with them a bit but then I had a ton of chores to do around the house so I quickly got started.

I vacuumed the main floor of the house but then switched gear and started working on the smallest room in the house. It is our craft/ office room. The husband doesn't have a place he can sit down to work or where to put his books so I decided to fix up the room for him. It is still not finished but here it is so far.
I love it...hope he does also.

I only got around to working on that since it was a lot of stuff to move around and throw away. Tomorrow will be an extremely busy day while I finish all my chores.

In the middle of me organizing the room I took the babies out to the yard for a bit and left them there. Well when I went to check on them they were all stinky as heck!!!! I took all their little butts straight to take a bath.
They hate taking baths! Hehehe...they were begging me to take them out lol. Now they smell nice and fresh though.
Look at that little face! I love that little chicken nugget.

We are all laying in bed all pooped out from today's work watching Zootopia. Hope tomorrow is just as productive!

Good night everyone!

No. More. Homework!!!!!! :) ... Master's Time!

Do you have any idea how awesome it feels to be able to say that you don't have anymore homework for now?!?!? Yesterday I handed in my last homework for B-course. It felt glorious! Now all we have left is our project and then it is break time!!!! Woop Woop!!!

I so needed this day to come. I was already super worn out mentally from the program. I am ready for something different. We will have break over the summer and then it will be college time sometime in August/September! :)

I am actually pretty excited about going back to college to get my Master's degree. Oh which I almost forgot to share with you that I received my acceptance letter to UD yesterday in the mail.

I applied to get my Master's in Materials Engineering. I am not a materials major but the classes offered from this University really caught my eye. When I complete my Master's I will have a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, and Materials Engineering! How bad ass is that?

I can't wait to be back in an actual classroom. Oh and the textbooks lol I want to buy new textbooks! It is always a pleasure to learn. There is always something new to learn everyday.

The only down side to everything though is that my friends will all be at either OSU or UC :/ I think there are only 3 or 4 of us going to UD. But hey I will see them all when we get back. You have to do what you have to do. OSU and UC classes just weren't for me.

My next focus from here on out will be to figure out what my Master's project will be and getting it done ASAP! AND making sure I finish B-course first. Still have that project left to do :S I know I can do it though.

I think A-course and B-course are the worst part of the program. So much work but super well worth it. I learned more than I ever could have imagined. Once you survive those nothing else scares you hehehe ;)

*Lina, you got this!*

Red River Gorge: First Time Camping

We went camping!!!!!! :D My phone tracked that I walked 13+ miles on the trip. How do I feel today you ask? My entire. body. HURTS! Particularly my feet and my shins...oh and my shoulders for some reason.

The trip was pretty awesome though! I really wish my husband could have gone. Hopefully next time we can go together.

Here I leave you with a small summary of the trip in pictures!

All packed up! Einstein was wondering where I was going. My little fluffy pants! I love him so much.

Felt horrible not bringing them with me :( Maybe next time they can come. The only concern I would have would be them getting close to the cliffs but maybe we can set up camp somewhere safer for them to hang around.

\

Let's do this thing!

Not super far from home. I don't think I had been to this side of Kentucky before.

And we are off for our hike. I didn't take that many pictures because I was busy trying to not die from walking lol.

Here is part of the group. I believe there were 18 of us total. It was a nice crowd.

It seems like we are down low but we are actually on the top of a cliff in between a natural arch that was formed in it. I couldn't stand too close to the edge because it would freak me out a bit hehehe. But I still enjoyed the view none the less.

There is Brendon climbing in between the rocks on top of the arch. There was actually a hole in between that you could see the other side from Pretty neat..

Here we are standing at the top of the rock with the arch. I won't lie but I was freaking out a bit being so high up...with no railings around!

Tried getting another group selfie but there were too many ppl lol

This was another arch we passed along the way. The trail was actually called double arch because of both the arches (duh..XP)

Nature is so beautiful!

Some of our group decided it was a good idea to clime this rock...until it was time to come back down. I wanted to go up but I knew I would be stuck up there if I did.

Tiny Jeff waving from the top. Do you see him? His head is peaking over and he is waving.

Jeff had me freaking out at the edge of the cliff.

Back at camp! Time to eat. Had quite the meal. Potatoes, peppers, zucchini, and sauseges.,

Lol Larry was cooking a sausage that was stuck on a branch. He was really hungry and could wait no longer.

My steps for the night (Saturday only)! Haven't walked that much in a while.

I learned how to cook food in a fire pit so that was cool. It actually came out really really good.

Oh nooo...The road back to the cars :( I really can't wait to do this again. It was a ton of fun.

I wish the camera could capture nature's beauty but it doesn't do it justice. I will keep the memories forever in my mind though. :)  I bet this will be even more fun next time with the husband. ;) (Who I am sure he is having fun in PR right now...lucky!)

Now, time for more rest as I mark another first off my checklist!

Lina

Late Post: Sunday fun-day with my babies!

I can't believe tomorrow is Friday! Thank goodness for that. I am going on my first camping trip ever in the US. This will be full blown camping with no bathrooms or anything hehehe. It should be very fun.

I wanted my husband to go but he is in PR for an Olympic Weightlifting competition. I hope he does a good job. He works very hard for his sport.

Anywho, I had a bunch of pictures from last Sunday. Aside from playing soccer I spent the morning working on the front yard. I felt really bad that the babies were inside watching me so I decided to let them out and play.

My two older ones are used to walking by my side with no leash and they listen most of the time, if not distracted. But once Einstein came in the picture it became harder to control them.

I want to make sure that they don't run off when we open the front door so I decided to just let them out with no leash. Surprisingly enough they actually behaved very well!

Lol Zally went along a couple of feet wiggling on her back like that.

hahaha see how far she went? She is crazy!

My little boy sitting in the shade. I feel bad that he has so much hair because he is always hot. I did give him plenty of water though so don't worry.

Close up!!!

I also took a few pictures of out beautiful flowers. Jollee was my little model and followed me around the garden. I love her so much!

Look at all those colors! Aren't they gorgeous?!

Loon at my little lady! She is such a cutie! She is getting a bit chunky hehehe. Time for a diet!

She is a bit if a spoiled girl so quickly came to mommy so she can be carried.

I simply love our front yard! All the colors. The front yard is a lot of work but the beauty is worth it in the end.

With the hubby! He was busy working out while the pups and I enjoyed the front yard.
Training hard!!! My strong man! Again hope he does well tomorrow.

The last eventful thing that happened on Saturday before going to the game was that one of the neighbor's house burnt down :/

My husband and I stopped by after the match and found the owners outside. We asked if they needed anything or if they had a place to stay. They pretty much lost everything. :,(

My husband and I went to walmart and bought them all the essentials for a house.

We got them things for the kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom. Hopefully this gives them a bit of comfort and they re build and pick up the pieces.

I can't imagine what they are going through but I hope if I am ever i. Their shoes people help us out also. It is the least one can do. Hope they can recover from this quickly.

It was a pretty busy Sunday now that I look back on it. Then, as I mentioned we had the soccer match after in the evening.

Hope this weekend is just as busy and interesting!

I leave you with this beautiful church we passed on our way home after the game.

It is such a beautiful building! I love the architecture here in Cincinnati.

Lina
