In Puerto Rico for The Week

My birthday and my dad's birthday are coming up this month!!!! He wanted us to celebrate it together in Puerto Rico. I almost was not going to come because I hate flying by myself, I get anxious, but ultimately decided to come visit. My aunt is going to be visiting also as well as my sister. I haven't seen them in years! 

I arrived yesterday on the island around noon. I had to wake up at 3:30am :S. That sort of has a funny story behind it. I traveled from an airport 1 hour from our house so the hubby and I decided to stay at a hotel closer to the airport so we could sleep more. We picked a cheap hotel...I kept telling my husband we were going to die lol the area was pretty ghetto. But they had an amazingChinese  restaurant behind it. The restaurant was super fancy but the hotel was a dump lol That was not the problem though. I can sleep were ever. The sketchy people were the ones I was concerned about. But anyway, we clearly survived because I am now here writing this.

As I was saying, I arrived in PR at around noon and got to eat lunch with my parents and then go shopping. I was exhausted by the end of the day so hit the bed as soon as we got home.

This morning I thought I slept in til about 10-11am. When I looked at the time...7:30am -_- lol At least I rested. I have been chilling all day at home, my back still hurts from sitting so many hours. The day is beautiful and I am glad I am home where I can rest.

Feels good seeing the animals and seeing them happy to be around me. Kiwi is really old now and pretty fragile. Sucks to see him that way knowing he used to love running a lot. 

Mima on the other hand is happy as can be but super chunky lol She loves to eat and be petted. 

This is going to be nice being here. I needed a break from work and responsibilities around the house. Trusting the husband to hold down the fort hehehe

I will be seeing my aunt later on tonight and my sister tomorrow. I will post more pictures of the trip as the days go by. Have a great weekend everyone!
