Kettle Bell Silver Program Workout

Those that know me know I have been physically inactive for almost a year. No working out what so ever. 2 years ago I had joined crossfit and I had absolutely loved it. But due to our crazy schedule from work and homework I had to quit. Plus it was a far drive opposite of where I lived. I tried picking it back up last year but I felt I was being forced to do it. It was not enjoyable and I lost motivation.

My husband bought all the olymipic weightlifting equipment because that is his sport and he wanted to work out at home. So we literally have a gym walking distance from our bedroom and I still didn't work out.

I have been a huge couch potato this whole time. And in that time of me being a couch potato something happened to me that had never happened in my 26 years of existance. I was weighing more than 100lbs. I first went up to 103lbs with out realizing it. Then 107. Now between 109-110lb.

Normally others would freak out by the weight gain but I am actually super happy about it. I have wanted to weigh 112lb since for ever. That is a good weight for my height.

However, I did not put on this weight through muscle mass and that is a problem. So I decided to do something about it.

I had a kettlebell workout book my husband bought me when I was doing crossfit the first time and was all motivated to work out. In the book there are three 6 week programs that train you using kettlebells. They are silver, gold, and platinum.

I had tried silver before but stopped around the same time I quit crossfit. This time I want to finish it. That is the new item on my bucket list!

There are 4 workouts a week, 24 total. I started Monday and just finish d my workout from today. Next two are Friday and Saturday. Two down 22 to go!

I can do this. Then when I finish that I will move to gold and finish off with platinum! I kind of want to add a tracker somewhere on this page so we can count down my work outs together. Let's see if I can figure out how to do that.

Wish me luck on my journey, I definitely need it because I hate working out. I need to stop being lazy though so I can reach my goals. I know I am better than this and deserve even more from myself.

Next challenge will also be to transition what we eat. We eat out a lot and not always healthy food. That definitely needs to stop. I will post more on that when we cross that hurdle. We want to meal prep and will try to start it this Sunday.

Take care everyone! I leave you with a picture of me with my favorite little boy!:)

He was crying because we wouldn't let him be with us while working out. The hubby felt bad and brought him to me. He is such a little baby but I love him.

XOXO,
Lina
